The Drinking Water Treatability Database (TDB) makes available assembled data on thecontrol of drinking water contaminants, housed on an interactive, publicly-available, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)web site (www.epa.gov/tdb). The TDB provides data that maybe used for many purposes, including: identifying an effective treatment process; designatingBest Available Technologies; emergency response to intentional events (water security);emergency response to unintentional events (spills); regulatory review; Contaminant CandidateList (CCL) determinations; and, identifying research needs.
