This standard describes the recommended proof testing of temperature regulators with ratings up to a maximum of 1500 psi (10350 kPa) at 100°F (38°C) to ensure operation at or below the manufacturer'srated pressure. Sizes from 1/4 inch NPS up to 8 inches are covered by this standard.
